Chris’ Hydraulic Tipping Trailer Build

When you live out on a rural property, owning a trailer is not a nice-to-have, but a real necessity. Chris found he needed something to move his skid steer around the place, as well as a tipper to make easy work of dumping loads.

Using our Hydraulic Tipping Plans, he added some extra supports under the skid steer wheels and made some changes to the lower chassis to reduce the bed height. Fitted with 3500kg roller rocker suspension, this trailer is ready to do some serious work.

Features include, removable rear tailgate, removable sides, front support frame, multi-stage hydraulic tipping cylinder and hydraulic pump system neatly tucked away upfront in a custom made enclosure strong enough to support the spare wheel. All neatly rounded off with a machine blue paint finish.

Chris said the plans were very helpful, easy to follow and it was very pleasing to get straight through the registration process on the first attempt.
