Ray’s Off Road Camper Trailer
We received these pictures from Ray showing the progress on his off-road (camper) trailer which is really taking good shape. Ray used our Off-Road Camper Trailer plans and added a few personal touches along the way. The chassis and frame is made from a range of RHS sections basically as per plan including steel side panels welded to the frame. He then used aluminium chequer plate panels for the front, rear tailgate and side storage compartments, which not only keeps the weight down but looks pretty sensational too.
The unit also features front spare wheel carrier, generous storage/tool box, front gas storage, off-road wheel & tyres all round as well as an off-road jockey wheel, of course. Two stabilizer legs are mounted under the rear and the tail light combo units feature mesh guards, which we think is a nice touch.
