George’s Hydraulic Tipping Trailer Build
From New Zealand comes this Hydraulic Tipping trailer built by George. Although built largely to plan, George extended the load capacity by adding a mesh cage above the box sides. He found a good deal on a 5T hydraulic ram for which he had to add some spacers to accommodate the bigger cylinder. From what we can see, this makes for a very impressive tipping angle.
As George did not have the capacity to fold 3m sheets, he split them in two, adding a divider down the middle to join them together.
