John’s Tandem Axle Box Trailer Build
Just thought I would share some photos of a recent build we did based on your Tandem Box Trailer plans. We added 600mm to the length and upgraded the chassis to 4mm as suggested by you. 12x6ft all up, 2000kg rated. The sides are only 300mm high to suit our needs. Tie down rails are bolted on.
2k painted finish, full seam sealed and will have a cage put on it in the next few weeks. The floor gets used heavily sliding stuff on, so we opted for unpainted 2mm galvanized floor sheets glued and riveted.
All up the trailers TARE was 660kg.
