The motorbike trailer is designed with a ramp that conveniently store away on the trailer bed when not in use. The design also includes handy features like tie-down hooks, spare wheel carrier, jerry can holder and chequer plate bed. The assembly guide will assist you in the construction and give you heaps of advice on brakes, axles, suspension and other components. Save lots by building your own trailer with these professionally prepared plans.
A premier trailer that is surprisingly easy to build. Features staggered rails for fitting 3 bikes, chassis mounted tie-down lugs, two jerry can holders (plans included) and spacious drawbar – lots of room for storage or a toolbox.
Drawn to our usual high standard the Motorbike Trailer Plans will provide you with detailed dimensions on 14 part and assembly drawings, as well as a number of additional DXF files, wiring diagrams and spreadsheets.
The rear ramp is securely held during loading and neatly stows away when you’re on the move. The spare wheel is mounted securely on the left hand side (safe for road-side change overs) and leaves lots of room on the deck for the bikes.
Two solutions are offered for bike rail construction. Like all our drawings they are professionally prepared and well detailed.
The Assembly Guide gives you 10 pages of support on topics such as Planning, Safety, Tools Required, Welding, Chassis, Suspension, Brakes, Electrical, Registration and more.
This is an actual trailer built directly from the Motorbike Trailer Plans. The proud owner finished it off with a great paint job and saved himself a lot of money in the process.
The plans conform to the Australian National Code of Practice – Building Small Trailers (VSB1). Trailers built to comply with this code of practice can be registered for on-road use in Australia.
